Fishing time Sea trout: 1. june - 14. september.
Length of fishing strech is 4,7 km.
The fishing day starts at 1800 and ends at 1759 the next day.

There are requirements for disinfection of fishing equipment etc. (See fishing rules)
Sea Char are totally protected.
Bag-Limit applies to: (Max. 2 wild salmon per day). Seasonal quota: Se below and fishing rules.
Fishing license sale: Opens 1 January (24-hour license purchased via: scanatura.no).
Fishing licenses must be purchased in relation to where the fisherman is a permanent resident.
Only permanent residents in Finnmark county can buy a fishing license at a reduced price.
Zone 1: 6 cards are sold per. day and night.
Zone 2: 4 cards are sold per. day and night.
Daily cards must be reported no later than 3 days after the card has expired on time. (Breach of the rule leads to a fee and exclusion).
You can buy up to 2 pcs. 24-hour card at a time.
Note! When purchasing a daily card in the same fishing zone, the fishing date must be different. (Acquisitions are not permitted).
Reservation system day card:
50% of the daily cards are reserved for permanent residents of Finnmark, with the possibility of purchasing 100%, provided that the remaining 50% are available (Not purchased by residents outside Finnmark).
Note! New fishing regulations from 2024
Please note that pure "catch and release", where the goal is only to experience the joy and excitement of fishing and then release the fish again, is prohibited!
Seasonal quotas 2024:
Resident outside Finnmark:
Total quota: 5 pcs wild salmon, of which a maximum of 1 of these can be over 7 kg./89 cm.
Max 3 pcs. wild salmon of the quota is allowed to be caught before 16 July.
Permanent resident in Finnmark outside Hammerfest municipality:
Total quota: 7 pcs. wild salmon, of which a maximum of 1 of these can be over 7 kg./89 cm.
Max 4 pcs. wild salmon of the quota is allowed to be caught before 16 July.
Permanent residents of Hammerfest municipality:
Max 10. wild salmon, of which a maximum of 2 of these can be over 7 kg./89 cm.
Max 6 pcs. wild salmon of the quota is allowed to be caught before 16 July.
Bag-Limit:
Max 2 wild salmon per day.
By wild salmon is meant Atlantic Salmon, and not Humpback Salmon og Farmed Salmon.
